How to use our information

Editorial policy and corrections

Sources you can inspect, examples with limits, and a clear way to report a possible error.

Education and preparation

TechMoney UK explains technology pay, employer equity and practical preparation questions. The publisher is Compliant Paraplanning Services Ltd. The content does not assess your circumstances or recommend a financial product, tax arrangement or share transaction.

A useful checklist does not establish that you have collected every relevant document. A tool result does not establish a tax liability, a sustainable spending level or the suitability of a course of action.

Sources and dates

The guides and tools link to their relevant sources, including GOV.UK, HMRC and public-service guidance. Follow those links to inspect the underlying information and check how it applies. A link identifies a reference; it does not imply endorsement of TechMoney UK.

The source-check date relates to that edition of the page. Rules, scheme terms and individual circumstances can change the answer. A date on this policy is not a new technical review date for every guide or calculator.

Examples and tools

Worked examples are fictional illustrations, not client records or forecasts. Tools explain their assumptions and exclusions alongside the results. Annual pay, owned assets, conditional future awards and pensions should not be treated as interchangeable amounts.

Browser tools help organise information or perform the arithmetic shown. They do not verify employer or broker records, calculate every tax consequence or replace professional advice. The public tool code processes entries in the browser; see the privacy notice.

Responsibility and review

Compliant Paraplanning Services Ltd is responsible for publishing this educational edition. Company ownership and a source-check date are distinct from named authorship or professional technical review. This policy does not claim an independent or external professional review of the site's content.

Report a correction

Email steven@compliantparaplanningservices.co.uk with the page address, the passage or tool behaviour in question, and a supporting official reference where available. For a tool issue, use a fictional example instead of sending your financial records.

Corrections should be based on the relevant evidence and reflected in the affected content. Dates should identify a meaningful check or update, rather than make unchanged information appear newly reviewed.
